The Conference for Entrepreneurial Librarians
October 17, 2014, on the campus of Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC

The 2014 Conference will be held on the campus of Wake Forest University and will have a special focus taking risks, and embracing change.

About the conference: the next  Entrepreneurial Librarian conference will be a one day conference and held on October 17th, 2014.  The conference planning committee consists of Librarians and Staff who work in the Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University, and the Walter Clinton Jackson Library at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro (UNC-G) .  The conference will continue to alternate between the campuses of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. The two campuses are separated by about 40 miles geographically in the Piedmont of North Carolina.

Previous conferences:

In 2013, the Social Entrepreneurship in Action was held on the campus of University of North Carolina-Greensboro in the Spring of 2103.  The focus was on Social Entrepreneurship.

In 2011 the Conference was held at Wake Forest University and the sessions focused on librarians and library projects who had started an entrepreneurial venture in a library and brought it to the marketplace.

In 2009, the inaugural conference held at UNC-G,the conference focus was on entrepreneurial librarianship and the many ways it can be defined.
